Accessibility

The Monument is dedicated to helping every individual enjoy all of the sports, concerts and other forms of world-class entertainment. We strive to provide an inclusive environment so all of our guests have a memorable experience.

ADA Seating

The Monument has many accessible seating options available in all venues and all price ranges. Guest in need of accessible seats may purchase tickets through our website or by calling 1(800)-462-6469. Tickets may also be purchased at The Monument Box Office M-F, 10:00am - 5:00pm.

Guests requiring accessible seating may purchase an accessible seat along with companion seats in the same row as the accessible seat, provided that those seats are available at the time of purchase.

Guests who purchased non-accessible seats and need accessible seats can exchange (subject to availability) the tickets at The Monument Box Office during open hours.

ADA Parking

The Monument offers accessible parking in Lots B and E1, available for any event in any venue. Spots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. For additional information, please visit our Directions & Parking Page.

Assistive Listening Devices

Assistive Listening Devices (ALD) are available for most events from The Monument Event Staff, please ask about them when entering the event or make arrangements prior to the event by contacting our Guest Services Offices at 605.394.4115.

Interpreters

The Monument will make every effort to provide sign language interpreters to hearing-impaired guests upon request. Please contact The Monument at 605-394-4119 at least 30 days in advance to arrange for this service. All services must be approved by the artist/show.

Service Animals/Service Dogs

Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Comfort animals are not classified as service dogs.

Under the ADA, service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or the individual’s disability prevents using these devices. In that case, the individual must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal, or other effective controls.

Guests bringing in service animals may request accessible seating however cannot occupy additional seats unless a ticket has been purchased for the adjacent seat.
