TICKET TEAM MEMBER

Job Summary: As a member of The Monument’s Ticketing Team, you’ll play a key role in welcoming guests and supporting event operations by providing friendly, accurate ticketing services. Team members handle ticket sales in person and by phone, operate point-of-sale systems and computers, and assist with mobile ticketing. You’ll help guests find the information they need, including seating details and general event inquiries, all while delivering outstanding customer service. This is a seasonal, part-time role with most shifts taking place during evenings and weekends, though hours may vary based on event schedules.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
·        Sell tickets in person and over the phone using computerized ticketing and point-of-sale systems.
·        Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and make correct change.
·        Provide friendly, informed, and helpful service to all guests, answering questions about events, seating, and ticketing options.
·        Assist patrons with mobile ticketing, including troubleshooting and guidance.
·        Communicate event or ticketing issues clearly and promptly to supervisors when needed.
 
Qualifications:
·        A positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing great customer service.
·        Basic computer skills and comfort handling cash are helpful; training is provided.
 
Work Environment:
·        This role takes place in a busy, indoor event setting with frequent exposure to large crowds and high noise levels.
·        Employees typically remain seated for extended periods while assisting guests.
