The Monument Parking Team provides excellent customer service to The Monument guests and are often the first person our shows and premium guests connect with upon arrival to the venue.  The ideal candidate will be able to communicate clearly and professionally with peers and guests and employ proper radio etiquette.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Standing in traffic to direct vehicle into and out of parking area.
  • Verifies customers have proper parking pass for assigned parking area.
  • Provide customer service to patrons as they arrive and leave the parking area.
  • Follow policies, procedures and instructions to maintain the safety and organization of the parking lots.
  • Utilizes provided reflective and safety gear as required.

Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable, registered vehicle with proof of insurance.  




The Monument Security will provide excellent customer service to The Monument guests through a variety of duties. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate clearly and professionally with peers and guests and employ proper radio etiquette.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates the locking and unlocking of rooms and entrances of facility.
  • Greets guests upon entering The Monument facility and provides direction and assistance as needed.
  • Interacts with the guests who enter the facility ensuring a safe, and welcoming atmosphere for all in the facility. 
  • Patrols the facility and grounds, observing any guest/non-guest activity, safety concerns, and/or violations of law, or applicable city ordinances.
  • May serve as first point of contact and initiates 911 call when required, assisting in emergency responses and operations.
  • Demonstrates sound judgement and the ability to influence behavior of persons with diverse cultural backgrounds, language fluency difficulties, and/or limited capacity.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience: No Experience Required. Law Enforcement and/or Military background preferred.

Working Conditions: This position is primarily indoors but while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. May be exposed to loud events while on duty.  

Physical Demands:  Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for long periods of time, sometimes up to ¼ of a mile at a time.  Must be able to lift, pull, push and/or move items up to 50 pounds.  Normal, or correctable to normal hearing, vision, speech, manual dexterity.

Day and hours may vary, but often include evenings and weekends. 

About You:

  • Must be 18 years or older. 
  • Ability to work assigned shifts which may include days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
  • Demonstrates strong customer service skills and communication.
  • Reports and/or helps in achieving a clean presentable facility.
  • Interacts with the homeless population and intoxicated individuals and coordinates with outside agencies to provide care needed.
  • Assist front office staff with the delivery of packages within the facility.
  • Successful completion of City background check required.
