Rapid City Rush Hockey
Rapid City’s premier sports team and South Dakota’s only professional hockey team, the Rapid City Rush have been bringing high-energy hockey and family entertainment to the Black Hills since 2008.
Their regular season runs from October through April; fans can experience 36 regular-season home games at The Monument. The Rush’s calendar is packed with fan-favorite staple theme nights each season, including Veterans Appreciation Night, Military Appreciation Night, First Responders Night, the Teddy Bear Toss and Rush Fights Cancer Night, along with other ever-changing specialty promotional themes each season. The Rush’s most current promotion scheduled can be found at www.rapidcityrush.com
Over the years, the annual Rush Fights Cancer campaign has raised more than $300,000 for the Monument Health Foundation, making a lasting impact well beyond the rink.
The Rush have also built a proud hockey legacy. In just their second season, the team captured the 2010 Ray Miron President’s Cup as Central Hockey League champions. Since joining the ECHL in 2014 North America’s premier “AA” professional hockey league the Rush have continued to develop players with aspirations of reaching hockey’s highest level. To date, nine Rush alumni have gone on to play in the NHL, including Stanley Cup-winning goaltender Adin Hill.
Whether you’re a longtime hockey fan or looking for a fun night out with the family, there’s nothing quite like experiencing Rush Hockey live.
Season Tickets, Group Plans, Mini Plans, are always available at the Rush Office.
